Your local library

lil laptop stores notes, drawings, setups, selected images, audio and sticker artwork in the app’s local storage on your device. There is no app account or developer-operated sync service. The app does not send this content to a developer server.

Photos and Files use system pickers. Only items you choose are imported. The app reads clipboard image content only when you choose Paste; it does not monitor or automatically read the clipboard. No camera, microphone, location or contacts access is requested.

Emoji and personal stickers

Your device’s keyboard provides emoji, personal stickers and Genmoji where supported. Availability and creation follow Apple’s services and your device settings. lil laptop stores the image you choose as a local sticker; it does not operate its own image-generation service. Images are prepared as static artwork, while the selected original is retained for editing.

Sharing

Sharing is an explicit action through the system share interface. The destination you choose receives the exported item and handles it according to that destination’s policies.

Setup images exclude document windows and personal desktop photos by default. Stickers you deliberately placed, including stickers made from personal photos, remain visible. Review the image and its privacy setting before sharing. A setup image is a picture, not a backup of the library.

Tracking and diagnostics

The app contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDK. It does not collect advertising identifiers. Local operating-system diagnostics may be handled by Apple according to your diagnostic settings. Keyboard selection is used only to present the emoji input experience; in-app elapsed-time measurements support interactions. Neither is sent to a developer service.

Retention and deletion

Data stays in local app storage until you remove it or the app. Documents are shared by all saved setups, so deleting a document affects those setups. Imported source files can be retained because existing stickers or saved setups may still use them. There is no automatic asset cleanup or portable library backup in the current version.

Device/system backups may include app data according to your settings. Removing the app can remove its local library. Export anything you want to keep before deleting it.

This website

This website and its video are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub processes website requests and security logs, including visitor IP addresses, under its privacy statement. The pages add no analytics, advertising, third-party embeds or tracking cookies. A local script handles preview choices, decorative motion and the sticker playground; those choices are not sent to a server or saved. The trailer loads directly from this website when you press play. This hosting is separate from the app’s local library.
